Three of a kind is made up of three cards of the same rank, while four of a kind is formed by four cards of the same rank. Two pair is two matching cards of the same rank, and a full house is 3 cards of the same rank plus 2 unmatched cards. The best possible hand is the royal flush, which consists of a 10, jack, queen, and king of the same suit. This is the highest-ranking hand in poker.
